Frost's Encounter (Jack Frost X Reader) Part 2

Chapter 2

"YYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! SNOW DAY!," exclaimed (little girl cousin), your eight year old cousin staying with you, as she jumped up and down on the couch in the living area of the residence. Her (little cousin's eye color) eyes dancing with excitement and her braided (h/c) hair swaying to and fro as she jumped. You watch your beloved little cousin from the kitchen while you read the morning paper with your usual cup of coffee (with your favorite additives) and medication (ADD medication, Concerta,  if you don't take it you are off your rocker, trust me you don't want to be there when you don't). How you love to watch your cousin be happy and full of joy. Unfortunately the phone rang right in the middle of your train of thought.
" Take it easy kiddo," you say as you go to answer the phone "we don't want the people to think we have a million screaming kids here!!!!"
You picked up the phone.
"(Y/n)."
"Oh hey (y/n)? Listen don't come into work today." It was your  boss.
Usually he didn't call unless it was big or necessary, and judging by his voice you  could guess option number two was into play.
"Why not Boss?"
"The pipes are frozen here. No water or plumbing working here. And last nights blizzard took out both the electricity and the back up generator. So no use coming into work today...Consider it an early Christmas present... Since Christmas is only a week away."
He abruptly hung up.
Tipickle, considering his usual disposition. The phone rang again. This time however it was Mrs. Bennett.
"Hey (Y/n). Can you babysit Sophie ad Jamie today? You can bring (little girl cousin's name) over since she's staying over tonight, you know? and it would mean a lot for you to do this for me on such short notice. In return I'll drop (little girl cousin's name) off at the airport tomorrow, so she'll meet her flight to Detroit."
"Sure thing Mrs. B," you replied looking at the clock and doing the calculations in your head, "I'll be over there in thirty minutes."
"Perfect! See you then!" She hung up.
Was this The Fates at work? (Y/n) wondered as you get your cousin ready to go along with yourself. First you sees Jack Frost for the first time in decades, now a snow day and your avoiding work the day after? What was going on here!?!?!?!?

"Come on, (Y/N)!" Jamie called out behind him as he walked along side all his friends, Sophie, and (L/C/N) ahead of you.
"I'm coming."
Your sorceress's senses detect someone directly behind her. Praying that it wasn't some creeper stalking you and the kids, you look behind you.
What was behind you  was Jack Frost casually walking behind them like he didn't have a care in the world.
Even when he was happy he was damn hot.
Figured.
He was smiling at you like the Cheshire cat at Alice, but not with that weirdly menacing vibe that the cat had. You smiled back with that warm fuzzy feeling one gets when seeing their biggest crush they've had in years.
"SNOWBALL FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" screamed Jamie, Sophie, your cousin, and all their friends in unison.

Oh Shit! You saw the first snow ball being thrown, since it was at your face after all. You laugh and return fire.
She see Jack also dukeing it out with the kids.
Then you get the best idea you had all damn day.

"Oh, JAAACCK!" you called out with snow ball in hand.
He turned to face you and got nailed with the snow ball from you. He laughed and threw one back which you quickly dodged.
"Oh it is so on!," Jack called out to you, "You asked for it! I invented the snowball fight, so get ready to get your ass kicked."
"Really? You may just eat your words, Jack! Take this!
And with that he began  pelting you with snowballs laughing all the way. To which, you happily returned fire.
"HEY EVERYONE, HIT (YOUR NAME) AND JACK!!!!!" Jamie called out to which all the other kids who complied.
You and Jack soon found yourselves back to back surrounded by your mutual enemy.
"Well, Jack," you said to your newfound comrade, "looks like we've got a hit out on us. What do you suggest we do? I'm open to anything."
"We could do one of three things: surrender... "
"Not found of giving up..."
"Fight back,..."
"More fond of that one,..."
"or three retreat."
"Hmmmm, Ok! Let's do number two first and if that doesn't work use plan c and run."
"Agreed", Jack mumbled.
The kids commenced throwing snowballs at the two.

"Nice work out there, (y/n)." Jack said as he walked you home from the Bennett's after saying goodbye to your little cousin and leaving her there for the sleep over.
"I've never seen someone move that fast to avoid being hit by a snowball especially a sorceress."
You  looked at Jack with fear and disbelief, "How did you..."
"Know?," Jack finished for you, "I've known since I met you ten years ago. I sensed the magic within you. Even though you didn't know it at the time. And was a dead give away when I saw you yesterday."
"You remember me from all those years ago...Wait! How were you so sure it was me from all those years ago you saved?"
"Do you know how many sorcerers there are? Less then one hundred. And even fewer are girls, and male or female don't have the identical magical vibes coming off of them. So, you are the only one."
You  are silent for a moment stunned to think that he had remembered a faint magic signature for ten years. He was holding your hand now, his staff in the other, making you nervous as hell.
"Well here we are....... HOLY S**T! YOU LIVE HERE! " Jack exclaimed thinking that this couldn't be the house Jamie referred to, because this was literally a CASTLE! One could take the castle at Disney world and switch it with this one and no one would be the wiser. The estate was ginormous complete with a giant garden and a drive way that went through the forest.
You had inherited it from your great grandmother that you barely knew, which came with all of her money, classic cars, and home to you completely furnished. For you, it was awkward to have to live in a place built for hundreds when it was mainly you and your little cousin when she was here to go to school on scholarship.
Jack stared at the estate awestruck for some time before turning to you and asking: "(y/n)  can I see you again sometime? Just you that is."
You stand there stunned not believing what you just heard. Was he asking you out on a DATE?!?
"Uuuuuuuuuuhhhh..............Sure!"
"Great I'll see you later then!" and with that Jack dropped your hand, winked at you, and flew off into the night sky.

You stand there for awhile until you came to your senses.You were still trying to come to terms of what just happened by the time you  had made it into the foyer of your home. You hear paper rustling and look down. In your  hand was a small folded piece of lined paper. It was the same hand Jack was holding earlier before he left.
Did he leave it behind?

Only one way to find out.

You open it.

The note read:

(Your Name),
  Please wait up for me at around 9:00 P.M.
                                                                    See you soon, Jack

It was in beautiful calligraphy from days of old.
You grin and held the note close to your chest.
You felt happiness wash over you. Maybe it wasn't going to be a boring Friday night after all.

"North you want me todo what!?!," Jack exclaimed unbelieving what his friend was asking him to do. After leaving (y/n), he had went to attend a meeting with the other guardians at North's (aka Santa's) workshop. He was beginning to wish he hadn't.
"We want you to convince (y/n) to assist us." North repeated firmly with their comrades supporting him all the way. They where Tooth (Tooth Fairy), Sandy (Sandman), North, and Bunny (Bunnymund or the Easter Bunny). "This threat is huge! Pitch is back and he is allied with powerful comrades. Ones she should be familiar with."
North handed Jack a file.
Jack opened it and read the contents.
He was amazed by what is said.
"(Y-Y our name),.... WAS A SPY?"
"Yes, and She's also Prime Merlinion." North replied in a calm voice.
"The Prime What Now?"
"The Prime Merlinion, that means she is the successor to the sorcerer , Merlin. As Manny, showed us earlier she is to be next Guardian. And this foe is her archenemy,....."
"Meaning, she is probably a target." Jack gravely replied
"Yes and an essential asset. This puts her and (L/C/N) in a dangerous predicament. Her brother, (brother's name), is not a likely target since his enrollment in a military school and being a werewolf and all."
"Yes, I see your point. I am going to go see her tonight. I'll bring her here." Jack agreed, determined to protect her at all costs.
"You'll need back up! We will go with you!," North shouts and everyone stands, "Everybody get ready!"
Jack sighed.
(Y/N) was possibly never going to trust him ever again for this, but then again he may just be saving her life.
